As you might already know, the Motueka Public Library on Pah St in Motueka is moving to its new building soon.

Here’s what you need to know:

> The library in Pah Street will be closed from 7 March.

> The after hours returns bin will closed and no returns can be accepted until the new library opens on Saturday 19 March. But don’t worry, we’re making sure that no books will be due until the new library is ready to take returns.

> The new library at 32 Wallace Street will open at 9.30am on Saturday 19 March.

> The new library will open under the Covid Protection Framework Red setting. This means we need to limit the number of people who can be in the library at one time, which may result in a wait to enter the library. Because we know many people will be keen to visit as soon as the library is open, we’ll be celebrating the library opening all week - so you won’t miss out on any festivities if you don’t visit on opening day.

We look forward to seeing you at the new library.
