For Film Fans

We have a range of fabulous options for fans of film.

Movie Night and Doco Screenings

We screen a free film / documentary at Richmond Library every month. We select these from our free online streaming service Kanopy and show them on the big screen in the Constance Barnicoat room. Our documentaries often have an arts focus. We've screened a wide variety of documentaries on subjects as diverse as the painter Cezanne, blues music, taxidermy, graffiti, an LA dance school for teens, photographer Annie Leibovitz and more. Our movies are usually films in translation or classics starring the 'greats' like Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

Get in touch with Richmond Library if you'd like to be added to our movie / doco email notification list: phone 03 543 8500, or email: library.information@tasman.govt.nz
