Motueka Library: Book Buddy Design Competition |
Colour or decorate your book buddy design to be in the running to win your very own handcrafted book buddy to take home. There are three age categories: ages 5-6, ages 7-8, and ages 9-10. Book Buddy entries must be back to the Motueka Library by Monday 9 October. Winners will be announced on Tuesday 10 October. Free to participate. |

Linda Jane Keegan "Stranded" Book Launch |
Join us to celebrate this beautiful new children's book written by Linda Jane Keegan with illustrations by Isobel Joy Te Aho-White. Linda Jane will read "Stranded", a story about upokohue/ pilot whales finding themselves in trouble and the people who turn up to help them. "Stranded" is based on the mass pilot whale stranding at Farewell Spit in February 2021. Joining Linda Jane will be a special guest from Project Jonah. All ages are welcome to join us and enjoy a fun activity. Books are available for purchase: $22.00. Cash only please. |
