For the past year and a half, you've been able to access Ancestry Library Edition (a version of Ancestry.com) from home and for free using your library card number and PIN. Unfortunately, after the 31st of December 2021 you'll only be able to access Ancestry Library Edition for free within our library buildings, not from home.

December is your last chance to make the most of Ancestry for free and from home!

Ancestry is a great family history research tool with records mainly from North America, Great Britain, Ireland, and Europe. It also has Australian and New Zealand records including electoral rolls and area directories, and a small collection of records from India, the Philippines, Japan and the Pacific Islands.
