Friday 10 November 2017
Congratulations to Fiona Sussman for winning the 2017 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Crime Novel with her book The last time we spoke.
The Ngaio Marsh Awards celebrate excellence in New Zealand crime fiction, mystery, and thriller writing.
Previously open to fiction only, this year a new category was added for non-fiction. It was won by Michael Bennett’s In dark places: the confessions of Teina Pora and an ex-cop's fight for justice.
Finn Bell won the Ngaio Marsh Award for Best First Novel with his self-published novel Dead lemons.
