  • Save auctions to your watchlist

The purpose of this class is to provide knowledge and confidence to people moving

into online banking. No personal financial information is required to participate.

This class includes:

  • Getting to know banking online
  • How to recognise the signs of an online scam and what to do
  • How to protect yourself online
  • Starting to navigate through an online banking platform
  • Registering for online banking with your bank

Introduction to Military Ancestors

 In this course you will learn how to locate online military records for New Zealand, UK and Australia using both free genealogy websites and subscription databases.  This course will mainly concentrate on military records for the South African (Boer) War, World War I & World War II.

This class includes locating:

  • Military service records/personnel files
  • Records of the War Dead
  • War Memorials and War Graves
  • Probates and wills
